Under normal human functions, oxygen is absorbed into circulation when we breathe and only transported through the body by red blood cells. Under higher atmospheric pressure that hyperbarics can provide, oxygen can be dissolved into the body's plasma, lymphatic system, the central nervous system fluids and bone tissue. This allows for the delivery of many more times the normal oxygen to our tissues and cells allowing for healing processes that may be compromised in a lower oxygen level environment.
